a national newspaper ran a story about grans in their 30,s , and it was a family talking point over the weekend
around dover seem to know a few ladies now having babies around the age of early 20,s
if you go back 15 years say late 80,s , most couples could get a mortage and waited to around the age of 30 , so the council houses went to alysum seekers
go back 30 years to late 60,s and did women have children in early 20.s as then it was acase of get a council house / flat
so looks like we are going full circle ------ the way to the family nest is to have a child and get council place
finally has bridge country club come full circle ? used to be know for grab a granny , if they are now in the 30,s , that is what you could pull !!!!!!!!!!!!!! if only i was not retired !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There have always been grandmothers in their 30's. I thought the trend now was for women not to have children until they are well into their 30s while they pursue their careers. Our immigrant friends in this area seem to buck this trend and have as many as possible as soon as possible after their arrival.
