The WCCP already do excellent nature events and Green Gang events for younger children. This talk of rehabilitation and addressing their concerns - the mind boggles. If an oik smashed up my garden causing hundreds of pounds of damage, the last thing I'd want is to invite him round for a spot of planting and hedge trimming with a cup of tea to show him the error of his ways. Who would? Or perhaps that's not touchy-feely enough?

Did next to no damage in the Shaft? Granted, the fabric of the Shaft is intact, but is that really of any point? Light fittings and fixtures were ripped out causing at first guess £500 of damage if not more. That's all tax payers money to fix. Paul narrowly avoided having a bulb smashed on his head - a few seconds later and we could have been looking at a fatality.

As reiterated, the overwhelming number of kids are brilliant, just look at the Carnival Courts, Cadets and even our own volunteers to name a few. No-one is tarnishing all youth here with the same breath, just an out of control gang of yobs who deserve to be taught a lesson concerning repercussions and consequencies. Great to see Kent Police addressing this.

Thank you to Kent Police (and PaulB) for keeping us updated.
