Why not invite the little darlings along with one or two of the work-groups? Or perhaps a general effort could be made to involve they and their friends in nature rambles, bat sighting evenings, bug hunts. Though, I dare say much of this is in hand currently. I wonder if the point could be made that there is much, much more to be seen when visiting during the day when tours are arranged?

And. Let us not forget just how much money 'we' have saved over the years in having bigger and bigger school class sizes, fewer text books and in using all the spare air-time on television to entertain the young from an early age. So much has been saved that some tax is no longer thought worth chasing and collecting, many more shiny armaments are bought, used-up and bought again and oh-so fast trains leaving town at all hours and parts thereof and, last but not least, all those poor, poor bankers that have been rescued from their folly. A few feral children is such a small price to pay.
What a boon too for recruitment to the armed services, "Come, tear down the fabric of some foreign civilisation...lots of Sun and sand!"
