    Post 37: what Mr Courtney's quote actually translates to is "I have an ideology and, given that representing the interests of my members is a bit slack before this weekend's rally, I'm going to impose it on everyone else". As for the rally, the NEU website says:

    "Join NEU colleagues and joint general secretaries Mary Bousted and Kevin Courtney from 11am along Victoria Embankment close to Waterloo Bridge.

    Assemble along Victoria Embankment close to Waterloo Bridge from 11am on Saturday 12 May.
    March at noon towards Hyde Park.
    Mary Bousted and Kevin Courtney will be speaks between 3-4pm.
    Rally finishes at 4pm."
