seems to be the new thing now, i rather like the idea too.
had two recently, the first was after i was rammed up the khyber at the kent and canterbury, got a letter a week later to say that the doctor would ring me at a certain time on a certain day and go through the report, which he did bang on time.
then last week the same doctor sent me for an urgent blood test, later in the day he rang to say that he would go through the results by phone today. bang on time he rang and took me through it in great detail with great patience.
in my surgery i have never see the same doctor more than 3 times, all good though and seem genuinely interested.
i am the first to moan about bad service so it is only right that i take my hat off when they go the extra mile.

What a good idea and must be so much quicker and better for both doctor and patient.
