600 over the entire country won't do much to alleviate the shortage if 40% of current GPs leave in the next five years.
Were doomed Howard- Myself I treat mainly with ancient remedy over year now been treating chest infections as do not want to keep taking Antibiotics not good for you- I make a natural one that makes you feel a lot better and take herbs for everything else. A lot of things can be treated at home and you can also study a bit on medicine and illnesses to spot things - saved my own life a couple of times after being to GP and diagnosed my daughter when not one GP I saw over years could not tell what she had. Were going back to the old days now so will be very hard in future for us all - hundreds of years of herb meds tried and tested and just over 100 years of man made I know what I take first. You know we have a natural painkiller growing in all our gardens and very good it is too.
You may well be right about natural remedies growing wild, about 20 years ago I had a dog(fat Ted) that knew all this. Whenever she was under the weather she would drag me into a drive way and select the green stuff that would do the trick. Sometimes chucked up afterwards but by the next day was right as rain.
I hasten to add that I don't follow this regimen myself just in case the neighbours are looking in.

Well beleive it or not being sick is sometimes good for you and anyone who has been sick and has a cuppa after has a good nap and feels better. I suppose it gets rid of toxins in the stomach or something dont know. I think in other countries being sick is used for good health not doing it all time. But dogs do it and they are full of energy.
I use herbs like: Garlic, Turmeric, with boiled milk = Natural Antibiotic
Ginger and lemons -chest and cleaning liver.
Some people use Mc D's KFC and chinease takeaway to cleanse their bodies, but does not work I am afraid. I notice the biggest spending is made on takeaways in Dover thousands of pounds go out of peoples pockets daily because too lazy to cook and got used to it.
