No it was this afternoon in the Beacon Church across the Rd from the car wash in London Rd.There was a writeup about him in the D/E last week.
Vic
Many thanks for your kind words.
Like so many people in Dover who are not known, Jack devoted a lot of time to the community at Beacon Church.
My wife (Patricia) was at church followed by cremation at Barham. Jack was my wife's uncle.
From Patricia many thanks for your thoughts.

Pat. Jack and my family go back many years,my dad worked at the DEW all his working life and was working there when he also died at the age of 51,as you know I also worked there for some ten years, but Even before that I was with Jack helping out in the social club,He was a great guy to know and work with. And all the years he put in at the church as a caretaker. Of the lads I know that worked at the D,E,W Jack is one I will never forget.
