Today is my last for the Dover Express. The past five and a bit years have been an opportunity to meet a lot of great people. I feel lucky to have been able to tell the stories of many brave, inspirational and passionate people and to have been able to help organisations such as the Riverside centre and Buckland Hospital children's ward.
Best of luck to you all for 2013 and beyond

Farewell chappess. I hope you can see a door opening near where you see this window closing.

Ignorance is bliss, bliss is happiness, I am happy...to draw your attention to the possible connectivity in the foregoing.

Good done Kathy.
You have given Dover Express readers many good stories in a balanced way.
You did your research well and reported without fear or favour.
I sure you'll do equally well with your two new titles & find the travelling easier. Keep in touch East Kent is a small place & stories tend to overlap.
I think Dover & Thanet's health paths are likely to merge a few years down the line.
Best wishes,
Watty

Oh dear! We'll all miss you Kathy. It was sad when you moved to Folkestone and we didn't chat anymore when you were on your fag break and I walked past. Good luck at Thanet, at least it's less far to travel!
BTW the picture quiz in the DE this week is the King's Hall when it was home to the Sea Cadets. I've no idea who the ladies are though..

It's a shame you're going, Kathy - heavens, I remember when you arrived, and was it really over five years ago? Thanks a lot for being there and for all your help - and for being a paragon who always answers emails!
We wish you all the very best in your new job - and Happy New Year!.

Karen has asked me to pass on her heartfelt thanks for all you did to promote the Riverside Centre, she said you did a brilliant job.
