15:3387145Spotted a few swarms of fairweather flies in the garden lunchtime. Never actually enquired as to what they are, sort of like mosqitoes. These have usually portrayed signs of mild weather coming. Anyone else heard of that?

20:5688271 Far from Spring weather, but welcome bursts of sunshine on this mild day highlighted the tulips on the table. Something to look forward to in a couple of month`s.

he rejoices under the name of ian lilford.
whatever you do, never mention the words "environment agency" or" focus group".
other than that he is a decent bloke.

22:5188299Yes the forum has been a bit doom and gloom lately and it would be nice if the sun could stay shining a little longer or we will all be suffering with SAD.
Nice seeing you the other day and hope the two of you enjoyed your walk down town, BTW sorry I forgot to mention it before.

13:3190073The ducks near Morrisons seem to have paired up within the last couple of weeks, a good sign of Spring aproaching.
Is that sad looking heron still in the Pencester area?

14:2390085I spotted a pair of nesting herons (at least I assume they are herons, I'm not too good with this type of bird) in Crystal Palace yesterday.
And these two made me laugh!

14:5290089The heron was still in Pencester last week, it flew from the near bank to the island when someone walked along the path so he/she might have gone off to find a mate.
