The closest I got on Weekipedia to define MPs is the following:
"The UK public elects Members of Parliament (MPs) to represent their interests and concerns in the House of Commons. MPs are involved in considering and proposing new laws, and can use their position to ask government ministers questions about current issues."
The whole research I went through, including Tom's link, and especially that link, showed all the titles of secretary of State...
This has led me to the conclusion, that the very next step I must take in my complaint is to ask the Department for Transport whether I am still part of the public consultation, or whether they have eliminated me from the process.
I shall ask them to send me a reply and not to ignore me.
They can either state yes or no.
If I am ignored, then my complaint will have to be directed at this Department, until I receive the reply to my question.
Once I receive the reply, I have many democratic options open.
Until now they have ignored my two letters sent in November 2011 and earlier this year.
Ray's more civil response may well have led me to this conclusion, rather than the LOL approach. After all, laughing out loud at someone's complaint and perception of injustice is not seemly.
