    We get them in our garden but not so many as we used to. About 20 years ago there were a lot, and as many as 10 at one time stood on the bird bath waiting their turn.

    They like teasels, if you have these near, and you can buy the black 'niger seed' which will attract them, but they may be a week or two finding it, but will then come back regularly for it.
