Ahhh...very sad to see the decline of the old hoverport. I used to love the things..the noise, the smell, the spray...on a summer evening you could hear them coming from way out in the channel..that slow engine drone ever increasing.
I remember one time down on the Prince of Wales pier on a lovely summers day..my daughter Briony got a drenching from the spray. We laughed. I managed to duck at the appropriate moment and remained bone dry because I knew it was about to happen. Isnt experience a wonderful thing!!
She's all growed up now so she is...sigh...
Sad to say I dont even have a picture of one of the blighters to put up at this juncture...all my very old pictures were lost through computer failures.
