iv been canvassing for 3 different parties over the p;ast 4 weeks and was amazed how many people still leave there front door opens.
Many never heard me and i could easily been one of these slippery charachters.
when you see the deverstation peopole getting into houses causes you wouldn't leave your doors open again.
let me give you just a few examples;
an organised 3 man gang when through hythre/folkestone distracting people on the door whilst robbing them, in one case an elderly gentleman in a block of senior citazens flats partialy blind let these 3 in through the door entry system, once in one became a look out, another distracted him, whilst a third robbed him of over
£2,000, this happened throughout the area.
visiting tese people to help them and give advice on not letting in anyone they dont know.
went bck a week later and was still being let in by residents
sadly these people are lonely and to them it's company when some one calls.
