The post you are reporting:
There is a lot of nonsense in the article, because they're not stupid at the Job Centre.
Signing on since 2009! I signed on at the end of 2009, but by mid 2010 had the decency to become at least part-time self-employed, and so-by reduce my JSA, until June 2011, when I signed off completely.
These two guys will be penalised! As claimants, they have admitted to benefit fraud, and I hope they don't earn the quick buck on the TV with their expertise on "what they managed to pull off while filming it".
For me, as for MANY others, signing on was a genuinely protracted nightmare, and at first I was too ashamed of myself!
I started working at the age of 10 in Dover, part-time, three nights a week in restaurants!
My mate, at the age of 10, got up every morning at 4.30 to do the milk-round as a helping hand, and could even drive the milk float. He never got to school late.
He earned on tips!
My sister started part-time work at 14, my brother started full-time employment at 14 (he made up for the lost education later at a course).
My mum was working full-time at 14, and my dad at the age of 12 started part-time work.
What has this Country come to?
As said, I hope these two fellows in the article don't earn a heap of money on their benefit fraud pranks by presenting it to the TV and getting "exclusive payment" for the show. It simple would not be fair on the many who do look for work and literally count the pennies until they manage to find a job.
