  I expect so, Howard. Despite all the howling protestation from the Little Englander brigade the Euro will be protected and it will survive and prosper. European integration is also going to be a fact of life if Europe is to compete with the growing economic powerhouses. Some may like to to think we can pull out of the EU and return to Merrie Olde England, dancing around our May Poles, drinking warm beer and watching cricket on the village green but, as we did this, we would watch the the BRICS marching off into the future leaving us to fester in our supposed 'golden age'.
  We need an honest debate about the EU and the Euro but, as with most things political, we are unlikely to get one.
