    Reg you are correct that various extremely wealthy Americans have suggested that they pay more in tax than they do now.
    Some have even suggested that they pay the SAME rate of tax on their wages as ordinary working people.
    Not one has suggested they pay MORE than ordinary working people do
    Not one has suggested that they pay increased taxes on their unearned income

    Yes French high earners will pay an additional 3% income tax on earnings above €500,000

    What none of you point out is the tax break ordinary workers get on overtime payments is being capped - so they will now be taxed more.

    I am sure we can now all join the dots ...
