Shades of Autumn and quite a heavy dew this morning. I grew these Cosmos from a packet of seed from my store which were 3 years out of sow by date; they were supposed to be ‘up to 45cm tall ‘ (18 inches in old money)! The Puffball mushroom is the 5th one that I have found in my garden which I intend to leave to see how big it gets!
The yellow begonias are coming to an end now and the blooms I had earlier were much larger but they are still quite a striking colour.
Plenty of colourful berries on the shrubs too which could be a sign of a harsh Winter if folklore is to be believed.
