  can't find the original thread on this it was opened a few years back by the then mayor and the world's press were all there. i have never actually seen anyone in there although it must be used due to the litter that gathers there.

  I have never seen anyone in there either Howard.
  
  I understand the necessary fencing on the river side but fail to understand the reason for the fencing beside the path it makes the area so uninviting. I bet most of that rubbish is just chucked over the fence, I think Morrisons keep that area tidy.
