I took this picture of a thrush in our garden at the beginning of the month, when we had 4 at once in the morning. Sadly, there hasn`t been a sign of any thrush`s or blackbird`s or the large number of sparrow`s we`ve had for a number of days now, which we haven`t witnessed in 25 years of living here. The dove`s have also mostly disappeared, but I know who the culprit is. It`s a sparrow hawk, which I`ve witnessed snatching 2 thrush`s and one blackbird in the last month or so, and they`re just the one`s I`ve seen. The garden has become practically devoid of bird`s, except for a couple of wood pigeon`s. Has anyone else experienced this?
