    Yes Colin we see this happing all the time in the back garden the white doves have almost gone we had up to about 8 at one time but they get taken out when in the air, by the birds of prey you see them waiting for them to take off from the ground and then they move in on them ,but there is nothing we can do about it, apart from not puting seed out.
