I am totally unable to flag this up as an individual because of many committments etc.....this is not to sound important....but I do see one needy project, well many, in the town centre....
This particular sad space, is the Age Concern/Kingfisher House garden...
Many, many people are commenting on it, and it is in the backyard, so to speak of the Dover Town Council/Biggin Hall area......Next to the rubbish laden River Dour
Before people say it is a nesting spot for the sad and lonely/drinker etc...it is actually a place where many people like to stop eat their lunch and enjoy the surroundings.....Ofcourse Brooke House, its gardens and tennis courts were there many years ago, but that is yet another sad tale...
Anyway this area could do with some TLC
Seats have disappeared, the Rose Bower is down at heel, the gardens totally ignored.....Most flower beds have disappeared.....Considering it is a Community Garden with many elderly people on the fringe of it, behind the Police Station etc. etc........I would think a ideal place for these projects.......... a bit of time and this money would make all the difference...
