Full moon tonight

- 21 October 2013 20:05249267I will take alook in my Telescope there were some great moons when we was in Cornwall and on the way home so light I did not need my headlights on to see where we was going but I did not turn them off.

- 21 October 2013 22:14249270Well I have been out there can see the moon at times,infact it is pass being a full moon which was a few days ago and now looks like a egg but still very good to look at but at times it is coved up I will setup for tomorrow night,I love looking at it close up and seeing the mountains etc. Thank you.You can take a photo of the moon with a telescope so I am told but the person would have to be alot better then me.

Always a fascinating subject is the moon. Only trouble is every time i try to photograph it the experience gets ruined for me as I invariably and uncontrollably start barking at the thing. The early medication didnt work...Woof Woof !!
But Im more relaxed now as they've put me on double Mogadon thrice daily...
PS: the star to the right of the moon is....?email: dover7@msn.com - 23 October 2013 18:31249600What great photos of the moon I am no good at taking photos, tonight should be agood night for veiwing with my Telescope,but after being up all last night I do not think I can make it ,but again if the weather holds out the moon can still be seen in the morning up till about 0700hrs so that might be a better time for myself we will wait and see,it is great to see the moon so close up if only I could take a good photo of it,Phil from the press came out to my place the other week and said he will try to make time to come back and take some. But again thank you for puting the photos up so we all can see them.

- 24 October 2013 11:55249669The moon was still out in daylight this morning,will try to stay up tonight to see it not full moon but it is better to look at as it is now,with my Telescope you can also see the rays as I call them coming away from the moon.
- 24 October 2013 16:41249704You know ..several years ago Vic I was out one night having the many vodka martinas, very stirred and shaken, ( me that is not the vodka ) and when I returned home i saw the full moon in all its glory outside my rear window. So with unsteady hand and even unsteadier legs I reached for the camera. And lo and behold this is what i saw thru the zoom lens..
Now whether I imagined it all or not I dont know..yes twas a full moon, and then flying fish went right past my window, with the old Pride of Calais in the background. From that day to this I never touched another vodka martini..
..that James Bond feller can have em all as far as Im concerned.
