no monitor is fine.
I operate at the factory settings of 1024 x 768. I am calculating that most will use that setting. I dont have a wide angle screen so hopefully people are seeing things okay, but better on a standard screen. I did come a cropper a bit last year, and had our late forumite Ken Baker who also did a car website giving me some advice on how to get four or six small pictures across the frontpage and still make it look good. I think in the end it was impossible to get right. So gave up with that one. Laying out the words is also very tricky, you hopefully space it one way and then you find it doesnt look good in other ways. For example there is a difference between say Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. I use Mozilla Firefox for all layouts.
