One of two new border facilities for Dover, investing over £100million in our community" said a visitor to Guston today. "In October 2020 the site was first announced. In October 2021 the plans were unveiled to reduce the impact on residents in nearby Guston and to take account of heritage and environmental concerns. This new [temporary] facility is now right-sized for our community & a welcome economic boost" she added.
FWIW, planning application 22/00390 still waits a decision...
