    I really do (almost) give up.

    We wish to buy Froggie stuff and they wish to buy our stuff.

    I have no doubt that Froggie stuff has the same standards as pre Brexit which is why when I next go to Frogsville I won't be hitting Tesco first.

    Presumably some of the stuff will be dutiable which should be on an electronic import declaration and Customs (the ones who were not bright enough to join Immigration) can do the odd check to ensure nobody's taking the piss.

    It's not difficult. The world is full of borders - see USA/Canada - two countries with similar 'standards'.

    Meanwhile apparently I'm not allowed to import sausages within the UK to Northern Ireland!

    Bottom line. Don't make trade 'sticky'. Everyone loses out.
