Today it was announced that the WIMBLEDON TENNIS will remain for everyone to see right up to 2017.
why just that sport?
many of us miss many sports as of all the extra charges
we see the footy England games many gone off our channels, often we see the friendlies, but then we get to european/word cup and they disappear onto channels that charge.
this also happens with premier games etc
what do forumites think?

kith,to be honest i dont usealy watch sport on tv,maybe the grand prix or the 6 nations rugby.as for football and tennis i give them a wide birth and arrange alternative programing.if certain sports go to pay to view it only can be a good thing as how many people would actully sit and watch that kind of forsed coverage on normal tv.

up until now all competitive england games i.e. world cup/european championships have stayed on free to air channels.
many big events are protected but that all depends on what the culture secretary decides when in power.
