Visit Kent is giving away tickets to 123 of the county's tourist attractions for the weekend of 17 and 18 March.
Applications for tickets via the My Big Weekend website and at visitor information centres close on Monday. They will be allocated in a ballot.
Attractions available include castles, steam trains, football matches and wildlife parks.
Sandra Matthews-Marsh, from Visit Kent, said: "This is our sixth major event for Kent people showcasing our industry and I am delighted that the variety of attractions opening their doors for free has increased every year."

I got an e-mail from the Art Fund which had a free competition to win vouchers to have tea in the London Charles Dickens museum which was also his home for some time. What with the interest here on such things I thought I would pass it on...

Most attractions in Dover don't open fully until Easter, which this year is the 8th. (Easter Sunday).
If Dover's historic sites and attractions are opening their doors for a free week-end, I hope it will encourage more people to visit them later in the year when they can pay an entrance fee to the attraction.
Crabble Corn Mill, Roman Painted House and Dover Transport Museum, are all run by volunteers; I understand that the Battle of Britain Memorial at Capel is, as well. All need more visitors and more ways to make ends meet.

I usually get emails from VisitKent, but didn't get this one. I wonder how many (more) people will apply before Monday.
