I'd agree with that if they also served dinner on plates and encouraged the children to use knives and forks and not treating them like caged animals by serving grub on a plastic tray like you see in American prisons.
They also need to change the menu and steer away from combinations such as lasangne and overcooked sweetcorn niblets.

Thatcher was dead against the idea of stopping free milk but was forced to.

the report refers to the "prison style trays" and wants them ditched. there are a lot of things to be sorted such as finding suitable space in schools for much larger canteens and avoiding overlong queues but the main problem will be convincing dave and george to stump up the funding whilst other departments are losing theirs.
