Perhaps the little hitler who ticketed my bluebadged car on Saturday might take a well earned day off. I parked with a very slightly out of date blue badge, and was actually in the post office posting my repeat request when I was ticketed. I wonder did she think I was experiencing a miracle cure and would suddenly, in those few days, become non-disabled? I did tell her, very nicely, that I had been unable to get in to the post office until then to post it (and the blue badge people have very helpfully made it impossible to do this online.....) and had not suddenyl become non-disabled. Her advice was to challenge it. I haven't bothered - we all know what the outcome would be. It is paid and done with and I wouldn't dignify it with a plea. But there must be a bit of difference between a blue badge slightly out of date and someone refusing to pay parking charges for no good reason - it wasn't even a car parking in a disabled bay that didn't need to. Moan over.
