Free Parking along the Seafront as far as the eye can see!

  No, I'm not talking about Dover but Hythe.
  
  I was there last Thursday afternoon, a scorcher of a day and to my surprise anyone can park the full length of the Seafront from the area just after Sandgate to the very top of Hythe pass the sailing club and beyond. It was jam-packed with people all enjoying crepes, both savoury and sweet ones from the van also parked along there and the ice cream vans too. Why can't we have this in Dover?

  ah now...you had me fooled with the headline there ColetteB. I thought Dover had gone bananas and given us free parking. I wont mention the free parking in Calais as I mentioned it before...and now it seems even in Hythe.
  
  All this talk about regenerating life in Town Centres, not do-able I fear without a huge relaxation on parking charges. The out of town shopping centres are always free..a big win win.

  we are back in the over population issue here paul, there is about a ratio of 2 to 1 in population density between us and france, hence land prices are lower there and more space for such things as free parking.
