  i was given a voucher at the check out of poundland a few days back which promised 50 free prints of computer photos.
  
  just logged onto the site and they suggested that i download my photos and at the end the discount would be shown on my bill.
  
  what bill i thought?
  
  looking at the voucher again the smallest of small print says "incremental postage and packing charges apply".
  
  the thing is i would have to download 50 photos first before i found out what the postage and packing charges would be.
  
  i gave up and logged out and a few minutes later an e mail came through reminding me about my 20 yes twenty free photos!!
  
  beware of geeks bearing gifts as the saying goes.

  Very little comes without a price tag of some sort despite the protestations of "FREE" screaming loudly from the adverts.
  
  I got a bargain though the other day without moving away from the computer. From Bid TV.
  I think it was a bargain anyway.. but...
  I placed a bid of a £1 on their website for 2 rolls of fairly heavy duty caulking tape ( blocks draughts etc). I never did it before so didn't know if anything would turn up as the bid of a quid seemed very low. Well lo and behold yesterday the 2 rolls of tape turned up and all for a Pound. The sting in the tail though was the £7.99 P&P charge.
