apparently these are chains that secure purse to handbags and and are very helpful in stopping thieves.
a great many have been handed out over the last 2 and half years and due to popular demand the dover district community safety partnership have new stocks and are doing them out free, gratis and for nothing.
dover and deal police stations have 600 each, the council offices at whitfield have 100 ad the gateway office in castle street has 200.
they are issue on a first come first served basis, so i will be outside the castle street office first thing in the morning to collect mine.
If they are like previous ones they look a bit like thin ribbon, we had some at the shop to give away they were very popular.
