There was nothing in the article to stop train passengers being treated the same as plane passengers.

that is my reading of things tom, totally wrong to say there is nothing we can do about it.

I don't see why a card cannot be handed out to those checked within the EU and all those without said cards to be checked this end.

i will be interested to see what the immigration minister says when he is quizzed on this one.
normally when cornered he turns aggressive and twists things around to the last government.
rather surprised that reg hasn't added him to his buffoons list yet.
