In the picture, Josh, a word is painted along the platform, the last three letters of the word are all that we can see, "MIN".
Could it be:JamMIN, WimMIN or ?

There is an interesting story that invloves Dover, regarding where those stones came from.
I don't know the whole story so I will let Josh explain but Karlos is correct.

Yeah, the platform edges were actually donated to us by the Port when they were closing the Western Docks Station. Some were better than others, hence the odd Min- here and there. I think at Shepherdswell, the platform reads 'The Gap Mind'
