  Fred Olsen's cruise liner 'BOLETTE' made its debut cruise departure from Dover last evening with the usual spray salute from DHB tug and the first daylight firework display I've seen (well almost). Glorious evening departure for the many on board who lined the decks to celebrate the start of what, I hope, will be many more cruises from our white cliffs port.
  
  'BOLETTE' is named after the great, great grandmother of the Company chairman and is the second in line to her sister ship 'BOREALIS' currently cruising Iceland.

  We have another new cruise liner undertaking regular sailings from Dover until March next year.
  
  Hertigruten Expedition's 'MAUD' is running 15 day cruises Dover - North Cape - Dover: Northern Lights and Fjords starting 6 October 2021. This 'smaller' cruise liner will take a maximum of 350 passengers.
  
  Having been berthed at the Western Docks Cruise Liner Terminal for the past few days she has put out the bunting and sailed today (22 September)destined for Bergen. A promotional cruise perhaps.
