  Being a councillor doesn't pay enough, Jan. but I take my hat off to councillors at all levels who work their butts off for their constituents for very little reward. I feel that anyone wishing to stand for County or as MP should have cut their teeth first at a lower level. But very few have.
  
  But you have to hand it to David, he is working his butt off with the promise of no reward whatsoever except the satisfaction of splitting the anti-EU vote and letting Clair in.
