I really hope your negativity does not prevail

Roger, David's views and those of the few thousand who signed the petition for a public meeting aren't negative, they are realistic - 17+ years in the planning, £8m+, just 3 of the 17 proposed sites signed up, and no guarantee yet that the CPOs will be successful, or when.

You also talk about getting some of the millions who travel through the port to stop. The first thing I (and most) do after parking on a long journey is look for the public loos - there are none on the plans and this should surely be the part of the answer to resolving Dover's relative lack of them (3 in total run by DDC, compared to 7 in Deal).
