    Exactly - it's a respect-the-culture type thing. Also, I wonder if any right-minded countries would accept women from an alternative culture having to wear chains or gags in public? And don't give me that womens-right-to-choose to wear the bhurka stuff - if you are brought up or taught to do something that becomes the norm and it is difficult to see how oppressive it can be. I speak as a Catholic............who has faith but challenges doctrine.
