I'm surprised there is enough food to go round to support all these foxes. If you look at the ones in the pictures you can see they are very well nourished with glorious coats etc. Years ago if you caught sight of an urban fox they were usually a mottled grey/brown with a sad looking dememanour, scurrying and rattling amongst the metal dustbins in the dead of night...not so the current crop. Nice to see them so healthy.

Much as with seagulls...how is there enough food to support them all? They scratch around for every bit of scrap they can get, yet all look sublimely healthy and there are so many. Just noticed two very newly born ones on Millers roof...there's a nest up there. But ever more come every year...how long do seagulls live that is the question or are we to be swamped?
