was told earlier that a vixen and family have moved into an overgrown garden in heathfield avenue.
without wishing to cause alarm it entered a house yesterday with eyes on a snack size puppy therein, so people living nearby should take care until the problem is moved on.

Foxes visit my back garden, which is at the base of Western Heights.
The other week I observed a fox walking through the town centre past St. Mary's Church during the early evening hours.

not a case for a rescue brian, the foxes are not in any danger or in ill health.

We have a young fox that sleeps outside the front door sometimes. It scared the window cleaner silly!

You cannot domesticate the fox they are predatory ,if you encourage them they can be a danger for small children
If you have them coming in the garden bleach solution will help stop them.

i think the fox threat has been overplayed in the media, the numbers of them have have dramatically increased in towns and cities over the past few years so inevitably there will be rogue ones.
attacks by foxes on humans palls beside the number and severity of attacks by dogs.
councils issue guidelines on how to deter foxes from coming into our gardens.
