Am I the only one to suffer from this? I type my posts as carefully as I can. I read my posts before committing them to the forum. Then, once posted I read them again only to find, horror of horrors, there is a mistake or severa lthat I've somehow missed!! How can this be? Is it truly a Forum Phenomenon?

It may be mysteriously linked to the progressively emptying beer glass next to you, Sid!

Me too; I always proof-read what I've typed, but quite often miss a spelling mistake, made, not because I don't know how to spell, but because I try to type too quickly.

same here, i usually end up editing about half of my posts.
I kno wexactly what you mean. Luckily on the Mac you get red underlines which try to show you all of your spellin gmistrakes so that you can correckt them before you click sumbit. Has this worked?

None of those advantages on the Forum software Rick, so we have to double check our typing skills - needless to say, you didn't check yours !!

I take it all have spotted the edit button bottom right of box. However I recognise this phenomenon in myself too...so frequently have to use said edit.
I have had some memorable mistakes...even on frontpage, very embarassing.

I just did that!! and I hate, loathe and detest bad spelling and grammar so I have scored an own goal!
Nobody noticed Diana, you can relax.
