  a rare sighting of phil of the nature page, still waiting for him to update it though.
  phil is actively involved with local volunteer groups, white cliffs countryside project for one and i believe the western heights preservation society.
  
  new members may not have looked at his two nature pages, well worth a perusal.

  Nice one there Howard of nature man Phil. His pictures are great and he actually has three nature pages on show..see menu left. All stunning too so they are. Couple of years old now. He may have given up his exlorations amongst the dragonfly and the butterfly.

  Yes, I've been a bit lapse recently with pics, for which I apologise. I haven't really updated the pages before because although I took a lot of bugs and things last year, they are a bit 'same old - same old'. I didn't want people getting bored with yet more Red Admirals and Common Lizards! I'll try and get some nice pics this year for you.
  
  I really could do with a better camera - mine is 5 years old now, and some of these new HD cameras produce stunning results. I wonder if I could afford one - does anyone have any recommendations at the cheaper end of the range?
