Keith, to be fair, when Vic was a member of another party, perhaps UKIP still did not exist then?
And, in the past, parties changed their policies, so perhaps Vic quite rightly decided, as have many others at one time or another, that the party they once represented or voted for has changed their agenda, and so the changing of party could be determined by the party itself changing policies.
For example, both Labour and the Conservatives and even the LibDems, at one time or other in the past, have promised an EU referendum, but then changed their mind and did not allow it. So many supporters of any of these parties may well have felt deceived.
