I am not crying about how badly off we are, I am moaning about it. Actually I am sick to death of being told that we are all having it rough, frankly its B---s.
Your statement to Paul #8 about 50p tax "No-one is pleading poverty who is hit by that rate in any sense" makes nonsence of saying we are all suffering. The phrase collateral damage keeps springs to mind.
Not that you will take any notice but I have much sympathy for small businesses and the more that go under, the worse off we will all be.
Also, I have said it before and I expect I will have to keep repeating it, I do not think upping the tax rate is the answer but I do believe that if everyone was made to pay what they legally owe in tax, that would be a better starting point than hammering our old and disabled.
