    Brian, you stated you have a shortage of volunteers.
    It most probably has to do with the economy.

    I suppose many people here do not have the motivation to volunteer to do anything.

    But they would't when you call other people's ideas silly!
    Saying no to everything all the time!
    Always opposing everything!

    Life is great when you feel motivated and want to work for Community participation.
    Not so great when others always turn everything down!
