    I am going to stay as a member of the trust and try again next time,I am still going to try and get more and better services to our new Hospital. this is the statement I made when I was a candidate and this went out to all members before the vote.

    I have always been a supporter of the new Hospital going on the Buckland site.
    We are going to have more and better services then we have now.
    But we still need to try and get a 24hour A&E unit which also would serve Deal&Folkestone.

    The A&E units of today are too far away.

    We also need to see more out-patients appointments done in Dover.

    As it is today it takes up to 5hours round trip to get to your appointment and if you are old or in pain, or have young children to look after+public transport that is not that good,and on top of all that you are unwell.
    I have said this at all the meetings I go to and if you vote for for me Iwill try and do my very best best for Dover

    Well as you now know I did not get the seat,but I was a close second.
    But I will carrey on and still put my views over at all meetings. Thank you.
