    It is the perennial dilemma of lower league clubs, that balance between playing aspirations and financial sense.

    I have seen my childhood club go from being owned by a local business man via a supporters trust back to being owned by a different local business man and in the process rack up £millions of debt all in pursuit of getting into League One. Now the club is having to trim costs, staff, playing staff etc. which has meant that the football has suffered and we are in danger of relegation.
