Dover have dropped down to 8th place in the league, but its realy tight at the top. 5 points seperating 2nd place and 9th place.

To go into the play off's Dover has to end up in the top 5.

Then of course theres that dilema, do Dover want to be promoted?

Dover has one of the best fan bases around non league lower levels, over 900 turn out every week, and many travel to away games.

But with promotion comes costs, more travelling, higher wages for players in that league, could the club survive being part time, if not, could the club afford to go full time?
Big business's are not falling over themselves to sponsor the club.

Just a viewpoint, but would Dover be better staying at this level?

The club chair is becoming concerned that crowds are not increasing even after many good results,

I want to see Dover up there in the football league, but do wonder if it will happen, or if they could afford it.

Whatever happens I will be one of the 900

Any thoughts(barryw sorry about this post)
