Have to say that I agree somewhat with Vic’s sentiments re Dover’s performances, but it now looks as though the latest squad additions have done the trick and sparked new life into us. Shame it didn’t happen before, but I guess you can only get the players in that you want when and if they become available, unless you have limitless money to splash of course which we don’t.
Yes Neil, it was good to hear you get a mention yesterday. I’ve only briefly bumped into Matt Gerrard once but he always comes across as a decent bloke, which I’m sure he is!
Afraid I wimped out of that game unfortunately simply due to the weather so took to the radio instead, but I’m sure that I heard Matt say that the temperature at Crabble ( no doubt due to windchill ) was -9! No wonder he said that he couldn’t feel his toes etc!:
