I've seen and heard some pretty strong stuff at grounds over the years, I think this man takes the biscuit.

Totally unacceptable in any situation, I was at the game and was unaware that this oxygen thief had been ejected. Delighted that the club have acted so swiftly and correctly.

Dover Football Club have acted quickly and correctly and this person has got what he deserved with a life time ban, just wish he would now have the bottle to formally apologise. There is no room for what he did in any sport at any level. The Woking player was keeping his grief private, this vile individual had found out and voiced it at the player and the player and his family have now had to deal with all of this outcome, so I doubt an apology would help.
It's just a shame that there is no legal action that can be taken against him.

Naming and shaming. But I'm sure charges could be brought under the Public Order Act?

Peter, I do know his name but I do not think it would be right of me to post that on a Forum. However it may come out as I think the police were involved when he was removed from the ground after he made the comment.
One thing I can say is that he is no youngster and certainly knew what he was doing and saying.

I read his account of what he intended Martin and would like to think he is being honest. His friends, workmates and those who stand near him at Crabble are best placed to know the truth.

A lot of people on social media including Keef say Mr Ashman is known for his witty comments and that he would not stoop so low as to intentionally make such a comment while others doubt his side of the story saying that it is unlikely to have known about the other player.
